Anchor (style) light

Ref: 1810050.

When a ships is at anchor, the shipper is supposed to show a so called anchor light: a lamp showing white light at all sides.  One of the manufacturers of nautical lamps both for professional as well as decorative use, is DHR: the family company Den Haan Rotterdam (established in 1922). This lamp resembles the DHR lights, however the top is slightly different and the frame has the stamp ‘ODL TPV Holland’. This lamp originates from the former Oldenzaal company Outdoor Lightning / Lightning architecture that has been merged into Uelsen Lighting. This 21th century lamp has been made of pure copper and glass (except from the bottom transparency) and during the restoration the red of the material appeared beautifully. The lamp has been rewired and has new hanging.
